For most small sellers, WhatsApp is where trust is built and orders are actually confirmed. That's not going to change, and it shouldn't. The problem isn't WhatsApp — it's that a chat-only process has no memory: no order history, no way to see which product or which marketing post actually drove the sale, no confirmation step beyond someone typing "yes."
A simple fix that keeps WhatsApp in the loop
Put a cash-on-delivery order form in front of the chat, not instead of it. A customer fills in their name, phone, address, and quantity on your Linkaty page, confirms with an OTP code sent to their phone, and the order is logged with a timestamp and a status you can track — then WhatsApp is where you follow up, answer questions, and build the relationship.
This gives you two things a chat-only process never will: a real record of every order (useful the moment you need to reconcile deliveries or revisit a customer's order history), and OTP verification that filters out the fake and joke orders that plague open WhatsApp-only selling.
WhatsApp is still where the relationship lives. The order form is just what makes sure it's a real one.
